Warm design for a classic Edwardian cottage

This traditional Edwardian cottage in Middle Park saw works in 2016 to transform the home with contemporary additions. The project involved designing joinery, lighting fixtures, flooring, as well as selecting furniture and accessories to work in harmony with the ornate Edwardian features, transforming this home into a truly distinctive contemporary residence.

This home is a work in progress, with GarMac Studio currently working on an extension which is due for completion late 2017.

A Port Melbourne townhouse gets an updated look

GarMac Studio was approached by the owners, a young couple, to renovate their townhouse in Port Melbourne. The main purpose of the project was to redefine a narrow downstairs space, as its proportions meant the space often went unused.

The project entailed a new design and build of the kitchen, bathrooms and laundry, including custom joinery as well as specifying new flooring, furniture and accessories throughout the home. This project had a wonderful outcome, creating a contemporary and fresh home maximising limited space.

An apartment gets a new look

GarMac Studio was engaged to decorate this apartment with an overall update of furniture selection, window treatment, upholstery and styling. The owners have a passion for antiques, so we incorporated their key pieces and treasures with our selections and added textured neutral toned linens and splashes of colour with artwork and accessories to create a warm and peaceful, yet contemporary space for our clients to enjoy.
