GarMac collects and holds personal information about you for various reasons (which we generally notify you at the time of collection). These include:

When you come to our website (garmacstuido.com) we may collect certain information such as browser type, operating system, website visited immediately before coming to our site, etc. This information is used in an aggregated manner to analyse how people use our site, such that we can improve our service.

We may from time to time use cookies on our website. Cookies are very small files that are stored on users’ computers to provide you with better and more customised service and with a more effective website.

We may collect the following non-personally identifiable information, including but not limited to browser type, version and language, operating system, pages viewed while browsing the site, page access times and referring website address. This collected information is used solely internally for the purpose of gauging visitor traffic; trends and delivering personalised content to you while you are at this site. ONLINE APPLICATIONS AND ENQUIRES

When you send or complete online applications or enquiry to us, we retain the information in that application or enquiry. We are able to then use that information to provide any services that you require.

GarMac does not accept liability for any errors and/or omissions contained in its website and reserve the right to change information, prices, specifications and descriptions of listed goods and services at any time and without notice. The photos and images on the website are for example purposes only and are representative of interior decorating projects.

GarMac offers no warranty that its website will meet your requirements or will be uninterrupted, timely or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that the site or the server that makes it available are free of viruses or bugs or represents the full functionality, accuracy, and reliability of the website. We are not responsible or liable to you for any loss of content or material uploaded or transmitted through the website.

Third part payment processors

GarMac uses third party payment processors to assist it in processing your personally identifiable payment information securely. Such third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies in respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions. For these providers, we recommend that you read their privacy policies so you can understand the manner in which these providers will handle your personal information.

We will inform you which payment processors are used when processing your payments. Payments are currently processed and managed using the third party vendor Stripe. Stripe provides you with software and a service to process your online credit and debit card payments; Stripe will respect and protect your privacy, data and any personal information collected by Stripe in the course of providing this service. Security of your personal information

GarMac is committed to ensuring that the information you provide to us is secure. In order to prevent unwarranted access we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure information and protect it from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access and modification. However, no company, including GarMac Studio, can fully eliminate security risks associated with the transmission of personal information through online transactions or communication, and you do so at your own risk. Stripe is responsible for protecting the security of Card Data in its possession and will maintain commercially reasonable administrative, technical and physical procedures to protect all the personal information regarding you that is stored in Stripe’s servers from unauthorised access and accidental loss of modification. However, Stripe cannot guarantee that unauthorised third parties will never be able to defeat those measures or use such personal information for improper purposes.

ACCESS TO YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

You may request details of personal information that we hold about you in accordance with the provisions of the Privacy Act 199 (Cth). A small administration fee may be payable for the provision of information.
